He was a target for them before he was a big name player.

This is just a ploy to disrupt our plans. Clubs like Real Madrid, they dont play football for the love of it anymore. For them, its all about money. Alonso will find nothing there but the constant glare of the media and half-hearted team players who are in it for the quick buck.

Madrid and their fucking "Galactico" policy can wither and disappear for all I fucking care.

Its bad for the game as a whole.

I hate them sooooooooo much, plus Xabi is Basque and Basque's arnt supposed to like Real Madrid is that right Sabre

Sabre, don't worry, Alonso isn't going anywhere no matter how much an offer is made. AS Red37 mentions "he is irreplaceable"

Anyway, IMO Alonso is very happy at Liverpool FC and the team has been laid out around him and Gerrard.

Expect to see more newspaper reports linking Real to Alonso but Rafa has absolutley no intention to sell.

Yesterday it was the San Sebastian media, but today it's the national media.

IN the article they say that Xabi's Agent do not want to speak with Real Madrid and has forwarded them to Liverpool Football Club. The article says Capello is in love with Xabi's game and that he doesn't understand how Real Madrid didn't grab the players before Liverpool did.

The article says that Capello knows that he won't leave LFC for less tha 25 M € (18-19 M quid) which is a ridiculous amount if you ask me.

I liked the response of Xabi's agent, Iñaki Ibañez: we do not have to talk with you, talk with LFC. :buttrock

Yesterday I brushed this rumour off a bit TBH nothing to do with you for posting it Sabre, but the fact that they think they can sign anyone they want and I was 100% positive Liverpool would NOT sell him even for 30 million pounds not euros.

But seen as they need to replace Zidane and the bald eagle Gravesen are no longer required Im starting to worry a bit.

Liverpool should tell them where to shove their offer if they make one, ecspecially since they ripped us off over Owen and made 8 million out of him a year later, whilst we got in exchange nunez that used to rent out sun loungers on some beach in the Costa's. :angry:

Not worried at all. Alonso has always said he is happ at liverpool, hes loved here and he knows we have the best manager and a team set up for greatness. hed have no reason to leave!
