ok, well at the end of every year there are bosmans... some are seen, most are seen, some are missed, below is just the lsit of those that available on a free. just here so u can see who we could get for nowt.

DEFENDERS
Maxwell Scherer (Ajax)
Josip Simunic (Hertha Berlin)
Cesar (Deportivo La Coruna)
Mario Melchiot (Birmingham City)

MIDFIELD

Zé Roberto (Bayern Munich)
Michael Ballack (Bayern Munich)
Olivier Dacourt (AS Roma)
Robert Pires (Arsenal)

STRIKERS
Nihat Kahveci (Real Sociedad)
Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink (Middlesbrough)
Julio Cruz (Inter Milan)

im not saying we should get these, and maybe this isnt the right place to put it, but just shows that there is some cheaptalent out there
(this would be better for a smaller club to look at as we have money, but it dont grow on trees!!!)

B0ll0ck aside, there isn't anyone in that list that I'd jump at.....and i think whoever gets him is one lucky manager. He reminds me of Effenberg, who i used to watch when i lived over in Herr-many....East German, not as full of sh1t as the west germans, and a tremendous work ethic....AND he scores goals. Pity he's off to Chelski, 'cos I'd really love to see him on our side

As Ballack is going to Chelski, Nihat is the only player I'd consider. Our standard of players are better than the others listed IMO.

I'd rather Rafa offload Zenden and try to get Ze Roberto to Anfield.

He would provide quality depth in left midfield.

ze roberto is to old.
cruz has agoal in him, (would struggle in prem imo)
