I say go out and get him. He is Man City's outstanding midfielder and would do a great job for us.

He would fit nicely into a 3-5-2

Reina
Carra
Hyppia
Agger

Kewell/Riise
Alonso
Barton
Gerrard
Finnan/Kromkamp

Crouch
Morientes/Cisse

That team would kick :censored:!!

Well he has turned down a 2nd new contract offer so someone must be interested.
I would be really surprised if Rafa went for him, but i didnt think that he would go for Fowler so what do i know  :D

As long as ping pong is only going on loan I think it would be a good deal hamann gets regular football before the world cup as he has just missed out on the germeny squad i think as not playing every week and ping pong gets regular football to develop on loan. I think of he went he would score some goals for them buts thats just my opinion

i think he has delevoped alot as a player and has put all that sillyness behind him... but i have to agree with those saying we dont really need him...

He is in the same mold as Sissoko, and could come into replace Haman (but how many starts does Hamann have now?) - but not only that what happens when we get a rw in the summer and stevie switches to the centre? - Stevie and xabi in the middle ... or for the tough games stevie and momo.

Depth in squad is good for resting players, and for injuries... but how many starts would he have?
