I don't like Costa but what a beast would he be if we had him. Looks like his off to Italy.

Roma are still holding out for a fee of 40mil euro for Salah which we refuse to pay and now reportedly we have switched our attention to Martins whose club are looking for 43 mil stg
The threat of a possible ban from the FA hasn't gone away either despite reports that we sorted it out among ourselves and Southampton. The FA are still requesting more information and are said to be under pressure from other clubs to enforce a ban. We are already serving a 2 year academy ban for tapping up the young lad from stoke and there is 1 year of that suspended. Fast forward a few months and we do it again only this time we completely hang ourselves with a full admission and leave ourselves open to a full ban that could come into effect in a few weeks.
We want them to spend big money on players to push us on but it seems they will do everything they can to resist  :nod That Van Dijk saga was such a joke that they can be accused of wanting us to get a ban so they don't have to spend.

A ban would suit FSG perfectly...  linked with Salah, VVd and Martins shows fans we're ready to invest and push on then all of a sudden... oooops transfer ban... we now can't spend all that money. best we just don't strengthen and let Klopp go through another season with a thread bare squad and players made from glass.

this lot are retards when it comes to transfers.

Calm down ladies. Southampton have dropped their complaint.

Sky bet also has us down as favourites to sign VVD...

If the Salah deal is dead, they should forget about this Martins bloke, and go and get Mahrez.

Morata has been a huge let down since he went back to Madrid. I can't believe Manure are spending a huge part of their transfer kitty on a striker only half as good as the one they have just released.

Fair dues to that new CEO Moores or whatever his name is. He was sent down to Southampton to smooth things over, looks like he's done a good job!

On 21st May Klopp said all our signings where 'Pretty much done' yet 3 weeks later just Solanke.

In terms of the window as a whole its not long, but its long enough to raise concerns about work that was meant to be 'done'. Clearly they where not done.
