On the Torres debate.

The decisive factor for me is that the squad can still be restrucured to the desired degree without selling him.

If Babel brings in anything close to £10m, that's good-quality-backup striker money. Then we've Skrtel, Lucas and Degen, plus I presume a few million in the kitty already, which combined ought to generate enough to fund at least another midfielder. There's even Aquaman...

Why then take on the risk of selling Torres?

Also selling a key player like him could also cause some considerable unrest amongst the rest of the squad. Next thing you know it other top players could be questioning the ambitions of the club ect....

Heimy and Goggles need a room together.

But I will say this, advocating the sale of Torres is very "illogical" to say the least.

What about this: if a big baldy slap head with big caterpillar eye brows speaking in a Norweigen accent decided to buy the club.

What would you do then?

On a serious note, I don't know why you give him the time of day. He's comeback to merely stir the pot and people are taking the bait.

latest rumour is that we've agreed to sign milos krasic after the world cup in the summer.

http://www.mondo.rs/s160402....ic.html

dunno how much credence to give it but i was really impressed with the guy when i saw him play in the CL this season.

If it is true then its very sensible for Rafa to get moving now before the world cup so we dont see us lose out due to potentially inflated prices.
