I'm with Homecall, £19.99p/m for broadband and all landline telephone calls are free, 24/7
The broadband was 512K but they just upped it to 2Mb for no charge and no usage limits
Get this though, I've got wireless set up at home and my laptop still picks up the signal from my office which is 2 MILES AWAY!! My mate works for BT and he reckons it's cos I live next door to the telephone exchange, but also the wireless router is v. powerful
Jonny have you ever heard of anybody managing anything like that?

In my old house i was on 2meg and to be totally honest i have not noticed a bit of difference.
It still downloads very quickly and doesn't seem any slower to me!

Im with Homecall, and with a payment of 25 dollars I upped mine from 2mb to an 8mb connection, well it averages out around 6.4. No real difference on surfing but downloads are lightening fast .
The only problem is we keep getting disconnected...they said it was because they are testing the line but this has been from the beginning of september dammit!!

suppose to be 2mb from NTL.They have done a free upgrade from 1mb this week.Thing is because of my medical condition i lie in bed with a wireless laptop and in my ntl box i have a wireless router plugged in sending me the signal.I'm sure i only get the maximum speed allowed from the router about 512kb a quarter of whats available.Karen who isnt wireless plugs into the same NTL box as me and is much quicker
