In a bid to streamline the forum the poll section is being considered for possible termination.

The fact that you need a poll to make the decision, means ... you need the poll section.

Well f'uck me with a yardbrush for treating you like an adult and asking for your opinion.

obviously forgot to add the "I don't know , can you just decide for me" option.

I like the polls, but hate it when some idiot boosts them all to the top as I use the new posts button most of the time. They should have a time limit on them, one month without a post and they are locked. Maybe we should have a poll..... should polls be locked after a month :D

The poll section does not make harm. The mods will sort out the cases of old polls and all that. I voted to keep the section

I think that as long as the Mods keep on top of this, it'll work.  I saw 4 old polls (no posts since at least a month ago) on the new posts page last night and locked them--it takes no time at all and they are quickly replaced by active threads on the new posts page.  So, I'd support keeping polls** and just locking old ones when they become a nuisance on the new posts page.

**That said, I'm not sure if polls need their own sections.  We already have the option to start a poll or a topic in the main areas of the board (Liverpool Gen. Discussion and General Chat) so why not just use those functions?

I vote yes, sometimes a vote is needed for the most trivial things and not only does that give you the option of voting for something worthwhile you can explain why you chose your vote.

I voted no.

What's the point in it?

most of it is general shite that could go in general chat anyway.

I don't think it's needed personally.

This is how the forums should be organised:

1- Elite Members Discussion Forum

This will include a subforum for Hillsborough

2- Liverpool FC Discussion Forum

The General Discussion, Players Lounge, Games, The Kop, and the Rumour Mill all merged to form one forum.

3- Non-LFC Football Discussion Forum

The Premiership, Football Polls, and International Football forums will be merged to create this one.

4- Non-Football Discussion Forum

The Non-related Football Polls, Introductions, and General Chat forums will be merged to create this one.
