Well I'm assuming that was questioned at me and I'll answer you almost 5 months later.

No I'm not from the South.  My girlfriend's family loves country music and always have it on so I just started getting into it.  Now it's basically all I listen to.

I love good music, irrespective of genre but if I had to choose one then it would be Jazz although not really Trad Jazz which is a bit clichéd and boring. For people who don't think they like Jazz I urge you to have a listen to Miles Davis, Around Midnight, one of the truly great albums of all time.  :cool:  :cool:

I love country as well, songs like "I'm one bud wiser than 5 minutes ago" are excellent.  :buttrock

Know he's lauded as one of the all time greats, his "Sketches of Spain" was pretty special but I although I love jazz I just never got into him .

Prefer the likes of Jimmy Smith ("the Sermon" is a classic) and Kenny Burrell who's "Midnight Blue" is possibly the coolest album I've ever owned.
