We've had the Beer Poll so, with Chrimbo just around the corner, thought I'd ask you to comment on your Spirit of choice when it get's late in the evening and it's time to hit the hard stuff?

i cant believe you have missed jack daniels (bourbon) of the list, jack on the rocks for me every time, well unless they have woodford reserve which is made by jack daniles but it is much smoother and has a great manly bottle.

remember guys no mixer, just ice, what the point in having the spirit if you will change the flavour, its like having a steak in sauce :no

I only have a mixer with it if I'm already smashed and someone asks "Do you want lemonade with it?".

JD every time! At christmas the missus always gets me a big bottle of it. Though no matter how hard i try- the more of it i sup...the more sober i get!! (and no mixers is right) Why ruin it with cr@p coke/lemonade/soda etc...

maybe its me having a tolerance to the stuff, but it doesnt have any effect on me worth speaking of..i just like the taste.

As for Southern Comfort...you may as well crack open a bottle of Benylin - Far too sickly and sweet for me. a drop of Vodka is versatile enough to be enjoyed, particularly with a dash of Lime and a couple of rocks.

I like Rum with coke (Barcelo) or Gin with lemon (Beefeater or prefferably Tanqueray)

Courvoisier is a splendid tipple, likewise Hennesy. Heres a xmas idea for you guys, get a test tube(shooter to the uber cool) slowly fill 30% with Kalua, slowly poor Baileys in next, again 30%, then top with triple sec(orange liqour) the drinks should stay seperate, so it looks the part and taste excellent. Enjoy.

Absolut, from the freezer straight no mixing.
That buffalo grass one is nice as well

I also like Habana club for mixing, mostly with coke and lime

And a nice malt every now and then, I like it with a touch of water

Jameson's owns Jack Daniels, I don't tend to add to coke to anything, I drink my spirits neat. Although JD & coke is better than JD on it's own.
