Ok, the ultimate music q if you ask me. Anyone around the age of 30 will have been 18 at the height of the furore...

for me its blue, theyve changed as the times changed, they have always been the ultimate pop culture band and have had some fantastic tracks

Oasis made one great album (one of the best made) in definately maybe but since then have becom the quoasis of our time.

Damon has gone onto the gorillaz, graham coxon makes brilliantly innovative solo albums.

the reason there are oasis cover bands and not blur ones is not due to popularity, its due to the fact that anyone with 3 guitar lessons can play an oasis trakc, but to play like coxon u gotta be a master

and dont mention wonderwall, the bass line is stolen from boyz in the hood and its just not a very good song.

Masterplan, dont look back in anger, roll with it, great songs.

Theres no other way, beetlebum, song 2, theres hundreds more!

I know virtually all will say oasis but im sticking up for my blur boys

I've seen Blur live ,when they supported R.e.m at Milton Keynes.

I went to see REM mainly as i thought at the time that Blur were pretty poo. Needless to say i was wrong and they blew me away.

I havent seen Oasis live so i can't compare. I do like alot of there music tho..

Best british band by a country mile is The Beautiful South. Paul Heaton is a brilliant song writer and they are AMAZING live.

Oasis are a bag of old sweaty b*llocks. I can't STAND the feckers.

Blur were good, though, without the "I'm brilliant yet scruffy, look at me!" attitude of their Manc cousins.

Neither are my cup of tea, though. Beautiful South is a good shout Igor.
Much more talent than either of the mentioned bands.

Neither are my cuppa tea either , but my woman says Oasis :D  So it must be Oasis brother.

Now ..I had a little time , to think it over and I had a little space to work it out Igor and Id have to agree with you on the Beautiful South. Paul Heatons been great even in his housemartins days.
