Out of the list, I watch 5 of those, Lost, Prison Break, House, 24, and Six Feet Under (which is over), all of which are up to date.

Personally, it has got to be either Lost or Prison Break. I'd take Lost, easily the most thrlling adventure TV show in the 21st century though Prison Break is highly recommended too. 24 is good too but the pure action sequences are sometimes over the top and unrealistic. As for House, it is certainly an entertaining show and is up there with the best medical shows.

I know TV is meant to be escapism.... but am I missing something or have those people been on that island for ages and nobody in the outside world knows they're there? Can't quite get it meself.
Gimme NYPD Blue or The Wire any day....

24 rules the TV universe - simple as...
Whether or not you buy into the concept of the show, the fact that the writers of the show are able to start the series off with the straight forward premise of CTU trying to thwart a terrorist attack, and then bringing in so many different strands of different stories and being able to make them all intertwine by the end of the series and still within the time constraints that they set themselves is admirable.

Lost every time for me.  BTW, has everyone caught up with Lost Season 2 so we can start some real discussion on the Lost thread yet?  :D

Yeap. Finished Season 2 long ago. Was following American airtime so it shouldn't be much of a problem.

Man, the season finale was certainly a shocker.

BTW, does anyone wanna know what DHARMA stands for.

No, not exactly a spoiler, because it was revealed in "Lost Experience", an official Lost spin-off program, so I wouldn't consider it a spoiler. Now its all over the web so I guess it shouldn't be a problem.
