christopher walken brilliant, every film he has a little speech that never makes any sense, he even made joe dirt good, "talk to my boy like that and i will stab you in the face with a soldering iron" 
but the actor who i want to watch every time has to be jack nicholson, brilliant in a few good men.
for comedy at the moment there a few good actors who all seem entwined, owen wilson, vince vaughn, adam sandler, and the best one is ben stiller

I would say up to and including "Scent of a woman" Al Pacino was my all time favourite and the best actor around. Since he made "Scent of a woman" he seems to have a "shouting scene" in every picture he makes, whether it makes sense or not. Still a great actor but no longer the best.
Johnny Depp would probably be my favourite at the moment, he just brings something extra to every role he plays. So my votes gone to J. Depp.
My top three would be Depp,Pacino and DeNiro.
