Greggs is a Manchester company, now trading in Liverpool

Sayers is more the other way round...

I'm with you woof; Greggs corned beef pasties are just the bollox, pity they're a manc company.

we only get greggs over here (and hampsons but they're sh*te)

i miss sayers, my staple diet for years was cheese & onion pasties from the one on williamson square. is that one still there?

Oh Yes woolly it's still there on the corner wafting it's smells across the square making you hungry even if you've just devoured a 3 course steak dinner 5 minutes before. In fact Liverpool used to be known for having a pub on nearly every street corner but that's starting to become a sayers or greggs on every street corner; there's feckin millions of 'em in town now. No wonder there's so many fat people around.  :p   :laugh:  :laugh:

what's that little boozer on the corner called, as if you were walking from sayers down toward matthew street? that was the first pub i ever went in liverpool when i was about 16
