Posted: Thu Feb 10, 2005 9:51 pmi thought raven had a good game away at spurs in the league cup but i have to say in general the younger lads dont really inspire me. they all look steady players rather than inspirational ones.
if one or two real stars of the future were coming through it might have taken the pressure of the club in financial terms but i think if we are going to build a great side we`ll have to do it with the aid of a cheque book.

Warnock's probably the most senior in terms of appearances and nearness to the finished article . Welsh, Raven and Potter still have a bit to do and Nunez needs a LOT more time
