Best midfield pairing - I know who i think it is!

i think the posts about alonso say all there is to say about him.
gerrard is/has been for a while an amazing central midfielder.

without being biased i think we've got the 2 best centre mids in the prem.

there's also a case for gerrad and hamann. hamann imo is still world class, and his pairing with gerrad his second only to alonso i think.

could be a touch of bias here. what you's reckon?

Over thes season all three will earn their corn However the future is Gerrard and Alonso.

Im biased though and Alonso is class.
Stevie G mostly only has one good half of a game maybe first or second half never full 90 mins.
And if he cant be bothered he doesnt play well atall.
But im going for Gerrard and Alonso.
He must have been very happy watching yesterday from exec box.

im not bias it clearly veiria + edu or veiria + gliberto but gerrard + alonso  gerrard + hamman or while the time gerrard inquired alonso + hamman can form a good partnership.

hamman i think has been consistently brilliant, and the opta stats have agreed but i think over the next few seasons it will be gerrard and alonso, both genius and the entire prem should sit up and take notice i hope

dietmar hamann should be given a special send-off by all fans when he moves on at the end of this season. those who under-appreciate his value to the side should look at the stats. we win about 75% of our games when hamann plays, compared to about 50% without.

Took the words right off of my fingers...

Stevie and Hamman would follow closely. Didi will be sorely missed next season.

Gerrard & Xabi got my vote. No bias here, just the bright and shiney truth.
