I can't add more than 10, but I would also add Owen, Solkjaer and Fowler on that list as well.
Thierry Henry gets my vote, the best striker I have ever seen and the most enjoyable player to watch when he had the ball.
If I missed anyone else please let us know
By the way I mean in the English League only

I had to say Shearer. One of the only all around strikers you will ever see.
Not to mention he told fergie to off and joined newcastle instead.

If we are being a little anal about the time frame you have there.. 2001-2011
Would have to be between:
Henry (2001-2007) 269 games - 178 goals
and
V.Nistelrooy (2001-2006) 219 games played - 150 goals
For me, Henry would get it since he was the better player overall and maintained a high standard throughout his years at Arsenal despite the rebuilding that took place towards his final couple of years... Shame he never won world player of the year... Deserved it a couple of times..

Henry was different class in his day. Made Carragher looks stoopid on more than one occasion, just a total footballer, and the best I've seen in the top division in a long time

Agree. them 3 were good consistantly for many years. Owen might of made the list if he hadn't of ruined his career by leaving the greatest club of all time

Thierry Henry was better all around than Shearer, Henry was almost a complete striker except that he lacked aerial ability. Henry could play as a second striker or even lead the line on his own. Shearer was a beast of a striker, especially in the 6 yard box.

Henry without doubt, unbelievable player.
Shearer would be second without a doubt, proper all round centre forward.

I voted bergkamp. Not for the sheer amount of goals he scored but for the fantastic things he could do with a football

So you saw the title best striker, and just thought, nah, I'll vote for a completely different topic

Probably Henry, with RvN a close second.
But to be honest, I think Robin Van Persie has a shout at being better than Torres and Rooney. Injured all the time, but still always scores a bunch, country and club.
