I voted yes, just to wind up people. :D

The question is now? or, as Puroresu has mentioned we haven't played good football in all this 4 years?

My opinion is that in those years we have seen great football. If someone tells me that Arsenal was the best team they've seen, then I must say that they have seen few teams.

I'd like to know what the people understands by "good football". For me "good football" and "fashionable and nice to watch football" are not the same thing.

If you (not you peeweee, anyone) consider what Arsenal are doing the best of the best in possesion football, I have to laugh, because Cruyff's Barcelona and Real Madrid have reached light years further (and I mean light years) on that camp. Especially Barcelona.

And I have seen people fancying Barcelona, with players better than Van Persie and Cesc, losing 3-0 in a CL final. Against a team that people didn't fancy too much, AC Milan, but that they had been doing what I call good football.

Good football for me is the football that keeps your goal without goals, and wins you games. If you dribble three players, and are dispossesed, and you see your holding midfielder outnumbered because they got you in a counter, then you're not doing nice football.

And I don't want to hear the "Oh the ball is meant to play in the grass" bóllocks. I've seen too many times my country boasting about our technique and how well we play with the ball in the ground, and failing.

Let's define first what's "good football". Then discuss.

This is an unfair poll. It needs to be dated. I am an optimist by nature. Maybe if you'd said for games in the epl 1-thru watever have we played good football, i'd vote. but this makes me not wanna vote, even though i agree with your sentiment, only because i have an understanding from all your previous posts.

had a few drinks, hope u follow wat i mean. May edit this tomorrow.  :p

ps sorry sabre if you said the same thing, i just can't read it at the moment

nanny understands it. its a general question, i didn't want it to be specific, its a simple 'are we playing good football'. the answer has to be no. taking aside sabres vote the score would now be 7 no's and 3 yes's.

the football we are playing is tripe to be fair
