Select your player of the season from these choices, or specify who your favourite was if they were not on the list.

torn between barry, mccarthy and james, but gonna plump for our ex keeper. hes had a fantastic season and has shown at pompey he can still dot he business (+ obvious bias for an ex red)

What about Diouf, mate?  He's also an ex-Red!  :D

I suppose I would be better offering my opinion seeing as I can't vote.

For me, Gabriel Agbonlahor has been the player of the season. OK, so Villa haven't lived up to their early promise, and have quite simply bored their way through a Premiership season, ending up with mid-table mediocrity, because of two many draws.

But one light that came from the Midlands club club was youngster Agbonlahor. 11 goals (and probably a few assists) in his first season isn't bad at 19/20 with a team that play negative football. Throw in the statistics that he has scored against each of the teams in the top 4 and he certainly is someone to look out for in the future.

Im torn between Barry Taylor and Arteta. Im going to go for Arteta. Barry was great at the start but hasnt done to much recently. Taylor who has been good has only started taking off but now is injured. But arteta has been consistant through the whole season

Berbatov for me - the man's a genius. Scored some of the best goals seen in the Prem this season.

For me it's one of three - JAMES, McCARTHY & BERBATOV.

James has had an excellent season and for a change has been quite reliable and we've not really seen 'Calamity James' rearing his head this season. He's either been unable to get his hands on Wii or was waiting for the PS3 to come down in price! :D

McCarthy has gone about his first season in the premiership kind of unnoticed really. He's not been getting the big headlines but still has managed to notch up 16 league goals and a total of 22 in all competitions which is admirable for his first season in supposedly the worlds toughest league.

Berbatov unlike McCarthy has been getting rave reviews this season but in general for his all round play. He may only have notched up 10 league goals but overall has achieved 21 goals in all competitions and has brought an extra dimension to spurs' play.

I'm gonna plump for Berbatov as some of his play and goals (i.e. that one out of nothing Vs. Boro at the riverside) have been quite breathtaking. Although I can't imagine him bagging over 20 league goals a season he is still an exceptional player and it's not hard to see why rumours of mega bucks offers being put on the table for him are doing the rounds.

I'm going for a relatively unknown player at Reading called Nicky Shorey. A solid full back who gets forward at every opportunity and has provided more than few assits this season.

Other players not on your list are Scott Carson at Charlton, Tevez perhaps and Pederson.

Well I havent seen much of him , but always enjoyed watching Kanu. Hes still quality.
And Leroy Lita from what Ive seen can be a dangerous Bu.gger.
A mention for Jasquilenein (not even close) Bolton Keeper.

From the list Id pick Arteta,I honestly thought hed be sh1t down here , but hes had a great season.

I picked players from the top positions from the actim indices, he was Bolton's top ranking player. I tried to make it one person from each club as well.
