Well, I was upset to learn that the semi finals and final will held at the new wembley next year. Getting to Wembley for any team was a dream come true, now you only have to get to the semis and you can say you've been.

de-values the competition.

Totally agree, part of the occasion of getting to the cup final was the day out at Wembley or the Millenium being a one off unique experience.

Its just cos the F.A f'ckd up majorly finance wise and are trying to get more money back, but yet again its devaluing the competition.

Ridiculous decision based solely on money.

I dont even think the semi's should be at Cardiff as again its a magnificent stadium and detracts from the aura of reaching the final itself.
There are plenty of big enough grounds in the country now, Old Trafford and Highbury seem natural choices to me, until ours is built and possibly even St James park, i know the location is out of the way but so is London for alot of the northern clubs.

Agreed only the finals should be held there, as it gives the players something to be proud of, and that they achieved. :nod

the whole idea is ridiculous.

of the 4 semi finalists this season, only manure have sold their allocation, so moving the semi's to wembley doesn't make any sense to me.

Only the final should be at Wembley.

Unless Liverpool get to the final, then it should be held at Anfield.

:p

why isn't the FA semi's two legged but the league cup semi's are? also why is the fa youth cup final two legged?

Nothing wrong with the old story of Villa Park, Old Trafford venues etc...  I think it de-values the spectacle of actually getting to the final if you're going to have the semi's at Wembley.

Looks to me like everyone agrees on this one.

I don't think Highbury would be a good choice. :D
