Too early for me too.  Although Carra would definately not be my choice at this stage of the season as I think his mistakes at the beginning of the season cost us dearly.  Solid now granted but dissapointed early on. From that list, I'm probably leaning toward Agger as his performances have shown maturity beyond his years.  As BadBob says, choices are a little underwhelming, we don't seem to have a standout player in the middle or final third of the pitch this season unlike say Ronaldo for the Scum, Drogba for Chelsea or the Ar.se with a couple of candidates.  Every single game form here on in is vital though so hopefully, someone will stand up and take the bull by the horns for us.  I'd like to see Pennant do it to be honest.  I think he's still underperforming and only offerred glimpses in the last few matches of what he's capable of.  It would be agreat time for him to back up his "I'm good enough for England" claims with some real match winning performances.

Its a shame we didnt have mascharano from the start of the season. He has been pure class since he came and if he had been a liverpool player from the start we could have had a better run in this years title race

Carragher - so far. Immense. I fear for the day the lad gets sidelined though. They're not exactly coming out the woodwork...

Salif Diao.

A true legend. Shankly would have approved. The man is a god with no limits to his talents.

For me it's Finnan. Would have said Carragher, but it's a close call, and we've come to expect no different from JC. So I'll go with Finnan....even though he's from Limerick

Finnan has had the season of his life!Maybe as Raffa says its because he is being pushed by other players he has shone...i dont buy that! I feel he has done enough to warrant his place steadily and respect a place that is his alone!

Still Carra for me though but Finnan is on his tail with exceptional job doing performances!SOLID and DEPENDABLE!Great player for LFC and one that deserves more praise than he gets!
