I forgot about boring old England. I've just tuned it for 2-0.

Is it just me or is Phil Neville completely :censored:.

All he is doing as an attacking right back is crossing the ball straight to the GK, or playing a simple backwards pass, Why is a real right back like luke young not playing instead of that waste of space.

3-0 Defoe, easy finish as Stevie G crosses it in whilst Fat Boy Slim Frank looks on in despair at the man he'll never be and the footballer he pines to be; Steven Gerrard.

I dont understand what McClaren sees in him. Luke young would be a better option. then again i dont agree with wes brown either.......

these andorrans make portugal look mild mannered with their constant play acting. it's quite frankly embarassing. :no

on a bright note though, peter crouch now has the best goals per games ratio in english international history. paul robinson was also flawless :D

that ashley cole looks a shadow of the player he was since joining chelsea though. :D

Didn't figure for a Defoe brace but otherwise my predictions of the goal scorers wasn't far off the mark!

The inclusion of teams like Andorra is absurd.

They need a new system where the weaker teams have to go through a first qualifying stage BEFORE entering the qualifying stage proper.

Like as follows (This is just an example. These might not necessarily be the teams selected for each group.)

First Qualifying Stage Teams

These teams would be divided into four groups of six. Playing each other twice. Whoever wins the groups goes into the qualifying stage proper.

1- Albania
2- Andorra
3- Armenia
4- Austria
5- Azerbaijan
6- Belarus
7- Scotland
8- Bosnia and Herzegovina
9- Bulgaria
10- Cyprus
11- Estonia
12- Faroe Islands
13- Wales
14- Georgia
15- Kazakhstan
16- Latvia
17- Liechtenstein
18- Lithuania
19- Luxembourg
20- Macedonia
21- Malta
22- Moldova
23- Northern Ireland
24- San Marino

Qualifying Stage Proper Teams

These teams would be divided into eight groups of four. Playing each other twice. The group winners and runners-up go into the EURO finals proper.

1- Croatia
2- Czech Republic
3- Denmark
4- Finland
5- England
6- France
7- Germany
8- Italy
9- Netherlands
10- Portugal
11- Spain
12- Ukraine
13- Sweden
14- Greece
15- Hungary
16- Iceland
17- Eire
18- Israel
19- Norway
20- Poland
21- Romania
22- Russia
23- Serbia
24- Slovakia
25- Slovenia
26- Switzerland
27- Turkey
28- Belgium
29- Qualifying Group A Winner
30- Qualifying Group B Winner
31- Qualifying Group C Winner
32- Qualifying Group D Winner
