Yep, and he said that about Ortega and Aimar.  Maradonna was a truly great player, but he talks a lot of :censored: most of the time

Robinho is in the making of a star.... He, although some says that he had not turn the fire on in Real Madrid, played like Ronaldo(9).. Running onto defenders, dancing with the ball and precise passing makes him a star in the making.. One thing he can't do is defending.. My 2 cents thought..

Although i havent seen him play, i have heard exceptional things about Carlos Tevez. But i did hear he was wearing a Man Utd shirt which caused outrage in brazil and for his club.

What about Robben, he aint bad, and even if he looks 45, im sure his only 21?

How olds Joaquin? and SWP? all these wingers getting left out.

Kaka and Adriano are already starts to a certain extent imo. I think Kaka is one of the best midfielders in the world and Adriano is in my opinion better than Shevchenko at the moment, not by much.

Im suprised by the lack of votes for Cesc Fabregas, in a few years he will play the pivotal role in Arsenal's midfield if he hasnt done so already. I voted for messi due to his great potential as a future star, but Cesc will be far more important that ronaldo, robinho or Adu whom from what ive seen from some video's is a bit over-rated.

I just watched the barcelona game, 5-0, and i got a chance to see messi play again. He was absouloute top notch, good goal, great link up play and assist, doesnt look lost amongest the likes of Ronaldinho and Eto, and his got a great work rate.

Really impressed with what i saw. They think Deco might not be able to command a place back in the team anymore either because of this guy. Looks a real Gem and they might not Henry with the way they are playing.

Just finished watching barca Vs. BISCANathinaikos in champs lge and Messi was outstanding, he was really putting his head down an working hard whilst still being able to show some silky skills.

Looking at the current results there appears to be a lot of dirty manc $*i*e voting in this poll.

Frigg off back to your own forums  :rasp

Agree boys, this is the 1st time ive saw this boy in action and boy does he deserve the hype, if he goes the World Cup (dont know if he is in the international team yet) he could well be the star of it, he was awesome tonight and just another good reason to watch barcalona, energy, vision, aggresion, will to win, stamina, and a touch to die for, this kid is gonna be special

It's hard to look beyond Rooney because I've seen so much more of him.

BTW I think Sissoko will be worth his weight in gold if he continues to progress.  If you see the effect Viera had on Arsenal over the years, and Keane on ManUre, you'll know where I'm coming from.
