Your dads probably right, he was the best player I saw playing for someone else at Anfield. I'd say he was better than Molby( who had a similar role) who played for us a while later.

I saw mendietta play when he was at valencia, and the guy was just immense. then it allw ent pear shaped majorly.

As i cant mention liverpool, can i say owen and fowler, macca and redknapp, barnes and carra... all for england
