Down and out - Who's gonna finish rock bottom?

With the start of the season less than two weeks away, we, meaning LFC fans, are concentrating on the top of the table as per usual, but I thought it was time to spare a thought for those teams facing the drop. And on that subject, who do you think will finish in the No. 20 spot this season. Whose Goose is cooked, whose manacurist will get rich this year and who will be favorites to win the Championship (formerly Division 1, formerly Division 2) in the 06/07 season?

Personally, I think Wigan will meet all the requirements stated above. They haven't bought enough quality, they don't have the resources, the flair, the backing of the local police, the start, the middle, the run in, the ground, the staff, the players, the history or the credentials to get anywhere higher than 20th. At least West Ham and Sunderland are experienced, and the others are established for at least 1 season, and although I would love to see Neverton drop (as well as Man Ure and Chel$ki) I can't see Wigan letting anybody take their seat.

So the long and the short of it is "Who needs    :help  ?"

Got to be Wigan for me.  I'm basing that purely on the fact that Sunderland and West Ham have experience in the Premier League and know what it takes to survive, even if they too are in the 'yo-yo team' bracket.

Wigan are fu.cked I'm afraid, I wouldn't be surprised if they set a new record for lowest ever premiership points total.  They didn't have anyone in their existing squad of premiership standard and all they've added is Henchoz I think, who was an embarrassment at Celtic after leaving us and is definitely past it.

I feel sunderland won't be able to keep off the bottom. They bought in no real quality and will struggle to get points off anyone.

Me too. I'm leaning more to Sunderland now.
