So many comments, so few constructive posts.

The man at the top of my list (if stevie had been exiting) was Michael Ballack, I was so sure he'd fit into our team, has all the credentials; experience, heart, goals. But seeing stevies staying, i think Shaun is my number one, he IS one exciting prospect. F*ck he can turn a game in a second. Hes the type of spark we lacked in the Houllier period. I think Garcia provided it to an extent last season, but he was nowhere to be seen in some games. Shaun may cost a shedload (which is a major drawback)but if we're not in for these players then we're not competing with the best - simple as that
