I say again... SUPERSUB...

In the best team in the world at the time, one man stood out... not because he was tall and gangly or because of his hair or freckles but because he was SUPERSUB... the opposition feared him coming off the bench - he changed games... the nearest modern day equivalent is/was Ole Gunnar Solsthingy...

When you heard the Kop belting out "SUPERSUB" it was a good as "DalGLEESH"

Cult heroes - its about time we had a few more of 'em

Yer we all feel sorry 4 em. But it is funny because it makes them think we're cheering them because they are good :D . I think biscuit and traore are actually getting better (I'm being serious there as well). Shows what some good coaching can do.

Ha Ha I was stood about 20 yards away in the anfield road end when that happened.

Heres mine anyway, not in any order.

Jamie Carragher - One of our own and probably the most underated defender ever?

Igor Biscan - Adopted for comedy/pitty value when played way out of postion by GH but playing out of his skin at the moment. "EEEGOOOORRR" EEEGOOOORRR"

Robbie Fowler - "God"

Michael Owen - Was never worshipped by the anfield faithful half as much as he should of been.

Jan Molby - Could run the game from the centre circle (also did time in walton and sounds more scouse than most of us, a true scouser ha ha)

Neil Ruddock - For that tackle on cole and the look on catonas face when Razor put his collar down.

Bruce Grobbelaar - Rome '84

Kenny Dalglish - Needs No explanation "King Kenny"

Gary McAllister - For the whole of the treble season esp. the goal past the blue noses and the uefa cup final.

The ref who blew the final whistle as the ball was bouncing into an empty liverpool net in the derby about 5-6 years ago after westerveld hit it against hutchison.
