With Steve Finnan added to the squad,will Gerrard Houllier continue to scour Europe for more players or will he settle for what we've got.
Rumours fly thick and fast;we are apparently linked with Leverkusen's Turkish player Barstuk.Duff is still a target,but only at the right price.Christiano Ronaldo,Portugese u-20 star,has pleaded with Houllier to sign him.Then there's hordes of French kids Gerrard has dotted around France waiting for the call to cross the channel to help Liverpool storm the Premiership.

u know what gh will do
he'll strengthen his bench not his starting 11...
clearly he thinks we dont have any weaknesses is our starting 11 and our problems are with subs...
theyre the ones not doing enough, while sitting on the bench to help our side...so well done gh, buy more subs!

we'll never see supersubs like the ones weve talked about earlier ss, gh does not have that kind of know how...
we'll get subordinary subs that look great on paper when the team sheet is read out but do sweet fuuuck all when they come on...thats the gh way!
its nice to know he believes in his starting 11 cause i entirely dont...and im sure all the rational supporters can call a spade a spade and see that if we dont improve our starting 11 we'll end up where weve been over the past decade...

Stevie's a good player but will he make us a Premiership winning team? I don't think so, perhaps Kewell, Duff, Gallas, Terry, Dunn these are the type of players we need to make a difference! Come GH are you losing the plot a bit?

I'd love to see the boy Duff in a red shirt, he's definitely what we need, young, skillful and will scare the s##t out of defenders with his ability to run with the ball, but will GH coff
up the money for him!?! we are despereate for a wide 'attacking' creative player, surely we can't settle for
mediocrity in the transfer market after last season.
Stevie Finnan's a good buy, hopefully he will give us something
down the right going forward!?

I agree about Finnan he should provide a bit of what babbel give us. He is better in his position than what we had. We need to make sure we get duff in its obvious hes interested so what if he costs 12 million heskey cost 11. 12 mill will prove a bargain if he gives us that bit of flair that were missin...think about it is there any other realistic option with kewell goin to Arsenal.

The Mirror has Houllier attempting to beat Arsenal to hk.The official Liverpool site is awash with fans claiming hk is signing for the Reds on Tuesday or Wednesday of next week.

I think HK would sign for us..why not we are the club with the best traditions and history in England,and if he has the ambition and desire he could put us back where we belong... at the top !!

u are a gem, and hk is our blessed signing
whats great about it is that he has signed with his heart...ofcourse he has to get paid, but he couldve just as easily gone to the mancs or chelsea as theyre splashing $$ around like its the end of the world!
isnt it great to not only get him, but to know he really wants to come...u can put it down to the legacy of the lads in the 80's that made the 10 and 11 year olds of this world, dream of one day playing for liverpool...we need to now make it happen again with the worlds 10 and 11 year olds...its time 4 the anfield dream to be reality again.....!
