Although any decision will be left to the new manager it is expected that any bid over £1m will see the French defender leave Anfield.

Graeme Souness has previously tried to sign Traore and now Houllier has left he may again try his luck in bringing the defender to Blackburn.

What is Liverpool football club doing having Traore in the first team squad? Surely out of his depth in the Premiership.

The agent of Liverpool defender Djimi Traore is reported to have said that the player would welcome a move to West Brom.Media reports claim that Albion boss Gary Megson is interested in signing the French defender and his agent Willie McKay says Traore is interested in a move to The Hawthorns. "He has three years left on his contract at Liverpool, but he wants to come to Albion," McKay has been quoted as saying.

Anfieldadorer, you are one funny guy...

Tell me, do yo live in Liverpool and go to the home games? You're lucky if so. Me? I live some 10,000 miles away in Malaysia but it does not stop me from watching all the live games, shown Sat nite from 10 pm and the Sunday games goes on until 1 am Monday morning.

My wife keeps asking me, "Why do you stay up and watch and keep cursing at the manager, some players (namely Biscan, Diouf Cheyrou, Smicer) and when goals are conceded. You keep complaining they play in such a boring way etc. etc. and get so stressed up. Where's the fun?"

I told her, "Because I am a fan and I love the club to death since I was 8!"

She gave me a puzzled look and utterly did not get it! Goes to show how funny we fans are and how little our spouses understand us.

Traore - shocking player.  Glad he's going.  What do other managers (like Souness and Megson) see in his play that makes them interested I wonder?  Anytime I watched him he ****** up at least once, and wrecked confidence in the team.  Anyway, who cares.  That's one down.  Bring on the other wasters.  By the way, anyone else feel we're losing precious time in the market by Parry having a holiday?  Timing seems right off to me.
