Liverpool players at the World Cup

Seven of our players are at the World Cup.  Frankly that is all I get out of the WC, supporting or following our players.

Brazil: Alisson, Fabinho

Thursday, November 24

Half of them will likely have only cameo appearances.

Usually you'd like to have most of your players playing for their country because it means that you have a good team, but for a lot of obvious reasons, I'm glad that most of our boys have stayed home or won't be playing too much in this WC.

So looks like Alisson, Trent, van Djik, Fabinho, Henderson, and Nunez, will all be available for Villa on boxing day. Just Konate likely to miss out.

Only player that raised his profile was Konate.
