It's encouraging to see the brief interview with him on the official site. In it he says that he had to stay as the future of the club looks so bright. Gives you a bit of confidence in the club

But the Madrid press who usually press that kind of movements is quiet. They have echoed that Rafa hasn't plans to sell big names and the only possible movement is to sell Sissoko in order to get Tomas Ujfalusi, a Fiorentina defence :upside:

. I don't pay much attention to this rumours, but I can assure you that if a big plan to get Alonso was going on, Madrid would have put their machinery of rumours and pressure to get a cheaper deal working. They always do that, that's how they got Figo and Zidane.

Sissoko in order to get Tomas Ujfalusi,

Thomas Ujfalusi is on a free bee in the summer, and has said he wont move in January even though we are "apparently" interested. So Momo wouldnt need to be sold for Thomas I dont reckon.

I remember when Real Madrid press said that he has alredy signed, jajajajaja, 3 days later he was in Liverpool.
Nowadays there is a possibility that Xavi ends at Real MAdrid, because Diarra is going to be sold and they need a replacement for that position, since Gago isn't as good as Real mAdrid thought when he signed last January.

But I believe that Real Madrid doesn't want XAvi, Real Madrid has never signed a national player since years.
