Xabi Alonso.
Hope he plays for us for the rest of his career, then goes on to manage us.
I think he'd be a top, top manager - better than the other players we have.

Well yea, he seems to be a reader of the game so he coulg be a good manager - What about Jamie?

He'd be a good manager, too, but it's a question of tactics - he doesn't strike me as much of a thinker - more of a doer.
Xabi seems to have the wherewithall to make tactical adjustments to his game (and those around him) without being told to.
DOn't get me wrong - JC does the same, but I just get the impression that Xabi is our tactics dynamo on the pitch, and seems to have a really peer-like understanding with Rafa.

Nothing wrong with posing the question Dundalk.... But I looked at the time you posted and correct me if I'm wrong but were we a little tipsy when we typed this query???

Interesting that this thread surfaces just now. Are people--reluctantly--beginning to think the unthinkable? (that with his squad rotation policy, Rafa will never win the PL?)

According to some on here we should be getting Martin O'Neil in next week
I still have confidence in Rafa being at Liverpool for a long time yet. Hopefully our next manager has just left school and joined Liverpool as a YTS.
