Sorry if its been discussed before but i thought i should post this for those who havent got it as i only just got my hands on it.

From his childhood days on the streets of Toxteth to his rise as one of Liverpool's greatest strikers this is a must read. Tells some great stories about his relationships with Souness, Thompson, Evans, McManaman and his fall from grace under Houllier. Some of the stories left me amazed at his treatment. Also has stories of his alleged drug taking and nights out which led to many :censored: tabloid stories.

The chapter about Houllier was top reading. At the time i thought it was the right decision made by Houllier to ship Fowler out but now know that he was treated terribly by the manager and Thompson. He didnt really stand a chance from that incident over the famous munching the grass thing v Everton.
