Which footballer are you? - Who do you play like?

When we're kids kicking a ball around most of us pretend we're players we admire.  I used to be Kenny Keegan or Kevin Dalglish (at cricket I was Geoff Botham or Ian Boycott).

If you play(ed) football, which player do you think you play most like (not that you were as good as)?  How do you think others saw you?

As an example, I reckon my style of play is a blocker who plays the simple pass like Carra when I play in defence, partly because I always have painful, red circles on me when I get in the shower!  Defensively, others probably see me as a Djime Traore though!  I asked my mate last night and he said I'm best in nets - cheers!

Who do you play like?  Who's style of play would you like to imitate?  If you could, would you be Ronaldinho (if you got his skill you'd have to look like him though!)?

It's a friday/fantasy topic.
:)

A little bit cliche but I try to play like steven gerrard. I play RCM, I score 12-15 goals a season, I would say i'm quite creative. I used to compare myself to Jamie Redknapp but his injuries we're jinxing me!  :D

At the early age of 9, I was told by the priest we had as a coach that football wasn't for me (well, none of my mates did reach to Real Sociedad so that's a bit harsh for a boy :D ) so I became a decent handball (strange sport in UK) player and started Judo.

My problem is that my mind has marvelous football ideas, but the bloody legs doesn't seem to respond.

I'd be some sort of Ronald Koeman, if you press me. :D

I always thought I played like Fowler.

Or van Nistelrooy. Which ever one appeals to you.. :D

I remember in my primary school days when I used to stand besides the opposing goal-posts and wait for the ball to come to me while at the same time hurling obscenities to the other players around me. I seem to have forgotten how many times I scored goals but I know it was alot.

I always got the "winning goal" if you might call it. Usually, we didnt even keep the score and seemed pretty happy having wild and raucous debates as to who won and other stupid, petty stuff. I remember, I always left games feeling great about myself and when we lost, I always told my friends how terrible they were because they didnt pass the ball to me enough.

The good 'ol days..

When i was a kid i used to model myself on Rushie (I had his pace and my finishing wasn't bad but my 1st touch was like Cisse's)

Now i've been told by my mates that i'm a bit like Garcia but not as inconsistent or wasteful, so i'll take that as a compliment

When I was younger my mates said I played a bit like Mark Hughes, but that was a long time ago.

Nowadays obviously I'm Thierry Henry in my own head, it's just that nobody else quite sees it!  Scored my 20th of the season today but also booked for violent conduct despite the animal who started the incident getting away scot free.  The joys of Saturday morning football...

I combine the grace and balance of Djimi Traore with the searing pace of Nando or a semi-fit Robbie.   :D

Thankfully I'm decent in goal!
