Crouch - Improving

i was indeed upset by the signing of peter crouch to liverpool, but to be honest, unlike kewell, he has done remarkebly well for a guy yet to score. I also know of other topics on him, but i believe its worth a mention again.

His contribution and work rate is superb, and im sure he will score soon. I was hoping against Villa, but never mind.

He obviously loves it at Liverpool.

he may be gangly and all arms and legs, but his touch is excellent at times. He is a nice surprise as far as im concerned.

what do you lot think??

I agree the post, but I'm not so sure of buying that you actually think so nicely about him :D

I think we could have done a lot better for seven million, but if he gets us a couple of more wins like at villa then by all means....

He needs to work on his finishing though, big time.

Are we going to include reserve matches...??

I think Crouch has been a good buy in respect that he does bring something else to our offensive play.  He desperately needs a goal to tale off the growing pressure from those very high shoulders of his.

I think he will only ever be a 10 goal a season player, so I think we still need a striker who is going to get 20+, but Peter Crouch was never bought to get that amount of goals.  He is there to link up play, bring other players in, and provide a target for the excellent balls from Gerrard and Alonso.

I noted Kewell was mentioned on the Judge's initial post. Kewell has lost it and should be sold in January. He offers us nothing anymore!!!

To be fair rafa has said that he didn't buy him to score goals but i like many was a bit surprised  at the £7 million we paid for him, about 3-4 million would've been a more realistic price, but still he is doing the job he was bought for and if we can get someone in front of him scoring goals then i think the future will look a lot brighter for us.
