THE TRUTH - AS WE ALWAYS KNEW
Posted: Thu Sep 13, 2012 4:08 pmOn 12th September 2012, over 23 years afer 96 innocent people died at a football match, while 100s were injured and many 1000s traumatised, the Hillsborough Independent Panel delivered a damning and shaming verdict on the conduct of the authorities; those who should have protected and saved lives failed and then subsequently pursued, vigoursly and deliberately, a campaign to villify and tarnish the dead and the survivors, with their lies and cover-up, to deflect from their own failures.
I am on page 65 of report and I have to say, it is unbelievable reading: thank God that the behaviour and pervertion of those involved has been exposed, it is truly shocking what went on and the depths to which the Police and those who colluded with them went, to cover their own tracks !
Without the perserverance and determination of the 'Families', these truths would never have come to light. They are an inspiration !
Support for their fight for justice must continue.
Today we know what we Liverpool Supporters akways knew.. our fight for JUSTICE continues !!
