Why would anyone mind mate?

There brilliant pictures, but brings a hint of sadness looking at them.

But we must never forget them.

no problems here mate, in fact i was one of the first in the ground the morning after, my flowers went in the kop goal. i always remember one old guy standing on the kop that morning, standing alone in tears and inconsolable, that guys  grief will stay with me for ever.

thanks for the pictures, not happy memories but still very important memories   :(

it was a very surreal day, you had old players just walking around the streets. any other day they would have have fans going upto them but on this day it was the old player going up to the fans in the line saying thanks for what we were doing.
a few things that got to me that day. not only the things that i was reading but the sight of Joe Fagen just walking down the street with tears running down his face, and craig johnson in the stand doing the same thing.
Just after 3:05 a very slow singing of Your never walk alone broke out, it one of the most beautiful and meaningful things i have ever heard.

no problems with me either on your posting of what will stay with me forever! the scarf i wore to
hillsborough was in the goalmouth area in memory of those who died, after that day i got my tattoo
done on my arm which reads "in memory of the 96 liverpool fans that died at hillsborough"
we must & never will forget them. your pictures mate will hopefully educate younger LFC fans
what hillsborough was all about, the unnessasary waste of so many lives r.i.p the 96

Can't see a problem with the pics. Good reminder of the time, the feelings. Another couple of years and the  majority at the matches will not have been born in '89, no harm in reminding them of the horror.

no problem with those pictures. in fact they're very poignant. brings back horrible memories but reminds us that they still haven't received justice

rest in peace the 96

Good stuff Lakes - I'd missed this thread when you first posted.

They were just unbelievable scenes at Anfield. I never got to the ground myself at the time, but every photo and bit of footage I've seen has always made me feel almost as proud as it makes me feel sad. Just overwhelming stuff.

18 years ago and it still hurts like it was last weekend. :(

YNWA - RIP lads and lasses.
