Football, Racism and British Society Research

I've just started a research project looking at whether Britain is regressing to a less civil state with less social constraint and more casual aggression. The questionnaire has just gone live at http://www.topfan.co.uk and as you’ll see, the questions are very current. Is British society going through what sociologists would refer to as a de-civilising trend? Have your say in the survey and thanks in advance.

Interesting. You probably won't get too many responses to this because either:

1) People aren't interested in it

or

2) Because political correctness has dulled the intelligence of individuals into thinking inside the correct box.

The best way to look at how todays Britain works is this story:

Then decide for yourself as to how they came to the decision they did.

Thanks Kharhaz and Kenny Kan for your comments and anyone who has completed the survey. If anyone has a spare minute or two your thoughts would be appreciated: http://www.topfan.co.uk

Did the survey.

Football violence still exists and whilst I was raised a Liverpool fan I did also start taking an interest in my local non league team many years ago
and from the bottom of the pyramid without a dime actually made the football league. An unexpected outcome.

I followed and was involved in that journey and witnessed violence at every level, and on boxing day truth be told at a league 2 game.

Its still there but there isn't a desire to publicise it as we like to think our game is cleaned up and violence is now an East European issue.
