Hello everyone..

Long time reader just joined today.I'm an Australian that's going to be doing the Anfield museum tour in June, I will be in Liverpool for 1 day (the greatest city in the world :P) I was just wondering what else I should see and do around the city, any recommendations?

head for this museum on the waterfront...well worth a visit

the beatles tour is something else worth doing if your not from liverpool, apparently people from all over the world often get quite emotional when they see the iconic landmarks like strawberry fields and penny lane etc. they are not that spectacular visually, it`s not like going to see the eiffel tower or anything but they are iconic landmarks in popular culture.

just to get a heads up on what to see at the Albert Dock area besides the new Liverpool museum and the beatles story...plenty more to do and see just in this one area

If you're in town for the night then theres the Cavern Club on Mathew St of course, after that head up to Bold Street/Seal Street where there's some good lively bars with lots of skank.
