After reading a few threads,I wanted to introduce myself to this community and look forward to sharing ideas with other forum members. I am a huge fan and like to discuss football with the locals here. We keep arguing who would win if Liverpool visited Costa Rica for a game.
Best regards,
Richard

dawson99,
Thanks for the reply and warm welcome.
I couldn't agree with you more. Yet, when spoken, I am not offered a free round of beers.

anti-hero,
You know the real deal when you see it! I know places where it is all you can eat and drink. My UK friends do some serious damage.
NANNY RED,
Pardon my ignorance, but what is a Bevvie?

Bevvie is a word from the poorer regions of Liverpool which mean an Alcholic drink.I come from the posh area of Liverpool and we just say do you want a beer.So this is what Nanny red is actually tyrying to say

Being from Philadelphia, a TOTALLY different image popped into my head.
Naturally I assumed that beer and women made the perfect combo.

NANNY RED,
No worries.
I enjoy a heated debate every now and again. It is good to see that people here feel comfortable enough to have fun.
It shows a solid online community.
