I've read Fast Food Nation and I'm interested in the cannabis one you mentioned.  Have you read it?  If so what does it say in essence?

Ive only skimmed it to be honest mate Fast food nation although a great read was heavy going loads of facts. Ten pages at bedtime done me in I normally do a book in a few days but that took about two weeks.

In essence Its like fast food nation but about the history of hemp as a plant and the resoning behind its banning.

E.G. Hemp produces ten times as much paper as wood and lasts at least ten times longer hence chinese parchments are still around and the US senator who was behind a lot of the ban campaign and linking the plant to black culture hence scaring mid America also owned millions of acres of forest land in Alaska which produced paper so the midwestern farmers scared of their children being corrupted by these drugged up crazy black guys stopped growing their staple crop.

Its that kind of read but like fast food nation will explore in more depth and show the sides to the argument

cheers for that.

yeah, FFN is fact heavy and I don't dig the guy's style.  I thought the hemp one might have also been about its effects, myth vs reality, etc.

apparantly there are codes found hidden in the first five books of the old testament, that have predicted all of the most significant events in future human history, the rise and fall of hitler, the assasinations of kennedy and rabin of israel in 1995, they are named correctly with time and dates, very scary stuff. Furthermore it predicts the worlds end in 2006 by nuclear apocalypse.

there are two books in the series, the bible code and the bible code 2. If you cant buy them, get them from the library woof

Cheers Judge, it does sound scary, I read somewhere (maybe nostradamus) that the end of the world would be initiated from what we now refer to as the middle east.
With the rise of islamic terror and Irans refusal to abandon their nuclear programme maybe we should head for somewhere like NewZealand before it all kicks off in 2006 .  :(

nostradamus's quatranes were pretty vague, for example he quotes hiSler not hiTler like in the bible code

Hmmmm, in a way for me the fact that its not 100% precise almost lends it a degree of credibility .
