I might be mistaken but think the site usually shuts down for a day or so once a year for maintenance so it could be that. 3 days though had me fearing the worst thinking someone finally pulled the plug on us 

I thought we closed down lol got worried there.

Yeah must admit myself after 3 days I was starting to wonder wether the shutdown was permanent.

I suspect it was a maintenance issue ?

Might be an idea if some of us swapped e:mail addresses (via pm) so we can keep in touch should we have a repeat of the situation.

Yeah I was almost toying with idea of looking up that old newkit Facebook group but fortunately didn't get that desperate 

Oh, we're still on then. Almost made peace with the fact that the forum is gone.

One upside is it gave less opportunity for cabbages like GoS to post dross on here....
