I remember when my  mate and I  took two extremely fit girls to watch the man perform at Wembley for the Parade tour ,needless to say we thought we were the dogs ***** with these two stunners ,when the gig started I can honestly say I have never in all my life seen any performer  that had the same kind of power over the female of the species ,I'm not kidding there were puddles and it hadn't even rained. The man was like Svengali and the women in the audience would have crushed us under their dainty little feet to get to the fella.

The gig itself was unbelievable ,it was practically a home for the depraved and the sinful and if anyone could host such shameless licentiousness  it was Prince ,the man was an absolute musical genius ,and his passing has snatched away another unique and extraordinary showman.

Purple Rain, 1999 etc.. were way, way outside the box at the time, the guy was out there on his own.

We need innovation, it's what makes us tick and lads like Prince are a once in a generation occurrence.  Complete fruit cake.

I look around the music world today and simply don't see it.
