that one of bob paisley with the trophies is when he went back to the north east to visit his home town, those old gents are his mates who he grew up with.
the picture of the kop with the red mark on is interesting because apart from the memories you can see the earth embankment that archibald leach built the original concrete spion kop on. that earth was the spoil from when a new tram line was built along walton breck road (which the kop backs onto) at the turn of the 20th century.

wish someone would put the BBC doc "history of Liverpool fc " on youtube, one of the best i have seen, come out in 87 i think. have it on vhs but the tape got damp in the shed.
