Physcometric testing - Help please

Hello folks, hope you can help.

I have applied for a new position at a large organisation and as part of the selection process, i have to undertake a Physcometric test (both verbal and numerical reasoning). I have tried the practice test that the organisation supplied for both, and must admit, the numerical ones are pretty hard.

Do any of you know of good websites i can visit that provide an understanding of ways to work out / solve questions, in addition to providing an explanation on the answers (for both verbal and numerical).

Also, if you know of any good books on Phycometric testing, please let me know the name of the book and author.

I'm desperate to land the job, so any help any one of you can provide on the above will be very much appreciated.

btw, a friend mentioned Cubiks, but I can't seem to get access to the website.

have you tried Grockit? not sure if they have that type of test, but worth a try and it must be similar to the Maths in the GMAT exams for MBA if it covers all of this. check out a couple of GMAT quantitative questions to get an idea, if it isn't similar to it then I would advise trying to speak to someone in the firm (not from the HR lol)

psychometric testing is a piece of p.iss.

they ask you the same questions over and over again but worded differently - just make sure you're consistent and the machine that marks it thinks you're genuine and weren't making sh.ite up
