Yeah, stick with it Damjan, doubt it'll ever win any awards but I really enjoyed the first season.

As a measure of belief in it's success, I've read that a second season will begin airing in Jan 2015 with a third season already in production.

On the "Pirate" theme, another good one too look out for is "Cross Bones" which I enjoyed as much (if not more) as Black Sails.

Anybody else been watching Gamorrah on Sky Atlantic?

Often seen it on my listings but I already watch a load of subtitled stuff and wasn't convinced this one would be worth the effort.

Yeah that's the one, love it..it's a good series,real gritty & Deffo worth a watch

Thanks woof. I might check out that other show as well.

Just saw episode 3 of Black Sails and as you say it's not the best show you'll ever see but it's definitely enjoyable, especially if you're into this pirate stuff like I am.

Black Sails rock argh

I enjoy Crossbones  with a good main cast though some of supporting actors could do with acting lessons

I saw the first few but gave up as nothing much happened and it didn't grip me.

Have just watched all 5 seasons of Justified though on the box set in a short period of time, couldn't put it down, second only to Breaking Bad for me.

Think it was mentioned earlier in the thread, brilliant stuff.

Justified an awesome show though I was little disappointed in the last season which I thought was a little weak
