I'll second that Nan!

You should see the music that comes as comp with the do in Turkey, we've gone for the string quartet but one of the option was 'man with keyboard'!!!! You couldn't make it up! I got visions of some little Turkish dude with a 1980's Casio!

What about...

Thin Lizzy - The boys are back in town (A dads' favourite!)

Stealer's Wheel - Stuck in the middle with you

Boston - More than a feeling (Air guitar classic for the ageing rockers!)

Rick Springfield - Jesse's Girl (Underrated, awesome tune)

Undertones - Teenage Kicks (A big hit at Irish weddings :nod )

i'm all over stealers wheel, that's a classic plus one of me faves, cheers for the reminder. Not so sure about the 'boys are back in town', I think i might have heard that one at a few too many (or possibly every) weddings!

Chic - Good Times & Everybody Dance

Brothers Johnson - Stomp

Jimmy Bo Horne - Spank (Is great blasted on a dancefloor)
If you haven't heard it, turn it up

I grew up on that kind of stuff.

I did throw that one up as a possible for first dance! But it didn't get the desired reaction! Not sure she was too keen on half me mates standing on the edge of the dance floor with their scarves in the air singing along  :D

We've gone for the Verve and 'Lucky Man' instead.
