Going out for a run myself now, I've slowly been getting back into it with some sensible consistent runs every week until the last few weeks when I have had a sore back but I have got up this morning and it's a nice crisp morning with the sun shinning and you can just feel it in you when you know you can do a nice run, so here I am ready to do a 10k run. I'll have to see where I am in regards to you Dundalk over time.

Right, new year, new start

Anyone got any goals for this year. I hope to do the Belfast and New York Marathon this year if I dont get any injuries.

I still have a stomach muscle problem but when i went and had an ultrasound last week they couldnt see anything.
In the end i got fed up and went for a run yesterday. Did just under 4 mile and felt ok-ish.
Could still feel the pulling on my stomach though.

Haven't been able to run for over a month now. Will be back out as soon as I'm well again.

Thinking about getting an iPod and one of those Nike sensor things. What versions of the iPod has the pedometer? Anyone know?

Heard mixed reactions to the Nike pedoeaters

I just go for my run with a stop watch then go to mapmyrun.com

being the fair weather jogger i am, i've started running again.

Am now in my second week and am up to 20 mins none stop...walking 5 mins and then another 20 mins none stop. The second stint is murder, but am making progress and plan to push to 40 mins, non-stop, at a decent pace within the month.

I am doin a bit again now myself, going to do 7 mile later probably.

Did 6 last week the day before i went away and felt ok, it was tough at times as went on route with some decent hills.
Did the six in just under 45 minutes so will be hoping to do the 7 in about 53.
