This is a neutral post (no sides) about the effects of cards.

After seeing 2 regular members banned, and after the mods have them re-admitted in the community, it can be stated that

a) Cards do not kill. Both members seem to be in good health and after watching their photos it cannot be said there are signs of malnutrition. (

)

b) Cards have an effect. Both members have come back calmed and in a good mood, both mates' members are happy they're back.

So in conclussion, let's see if we're all a happy family now and we take the cards as what they really are, warning in order to come back to the "normal standard" of the poster when the poster goes too far. Hopefully no more bans will be required until the end of the season, bar the Oasis-esque ones.

Some might argue that too much peace could be boring. If that's the case, then I'd advice to readmit Stu and Barry, I think they've been in the shadow for quite a while now. Stu deserves his 234th chance and Barry his 43th.

Yes, sometimes they're controversial and deserve cards, but in first team crisis times they're very handy to have in the forum. Barry always combats against defeatism and Stu is what you need to keep posters like Heimdall under control.
