Excellent call. His family must have been devastated this christmas without that young lad there. Have they caught his murderer yet?

I was very shocked and saddened to hear about Benazir Bhutto .... (although I know she put herself in danger during her rallies).

I admired her because she was a woman in politics. She represented women, was an advocate of women's rights and was willing to work hard to make a difference to the people of Pakistan.

This was quite something for a woman in a muslim country.

i'm with you to an extent on the point you're making about internet mawkishness, woof. but don't tell me you were never excited and entertained by evil kneivel, john inman never made you laugh at least once, were never impressed by the bravery and commitment of benazir bhutto, overjoyed in 1966 and alan ball's contributions, etc etc...

a thought is surely not too much in return
