I absolutely love me ma's scouse , with bread and butter and pickled red cabbage. It's even better if you leave it until the next day. :hearts  :hearts

Spuds ,stewing steak, carrots , leaks or onions (depends if your a snob or not)all thrown into a pan and stewed for half a day and it's feckin lovely i tell yer. If your a bit of a wierdo and don't want the steak , you can make it without and it's called blind scouse.

It's stew. Very similar to what my ma makes too, only I just call it Irish stew; Scousers just call it Scouse, because that's where the name Scouser comes from - a bowl of stew.

Did your ma put Oxo cube in it? I love it with plenty of carrots, and sausages. Hmmmm.
